Anne Boudreau Artist Statement: From seed pods to constellations, I am amazed by our natural systems and their cooperative functions. The simple and complex structures I find in nature inspire and inform my work. Using a combination of wire, twine, fabric, and acrylic paint, my three-dimensional forms are both rigid and soft. My process includes patterning, fabric manipulation, hand sewing and binding techniques. The constructions are fragile yet stable, much like the forces of nature. -- and link to: about artist: resume
