cups, flowers & big Os
This installation was part of Voices, a group exhibition curated by artist/writer Bea Aaronson who at the time was residing in Charleston, South Carolina. The exhibition was mounted at Gallery 701, a raw physical space initially built in 1903 as a community center for the neighboring Olympia and Grandby mill villages in Columbia, South Carolina. In 2007 a comprehensive restoration of the structure took place and it is now known as 701 Whaley. This beautiful repurposed multifunctional building now houses 701 Center for Contemprary Art.
