anne boudreau is a visual artist who makes mixed media sculpture and collage. She is a native of New Orleans, and currently resides in south Louisiana. MFA University of South Carolina 1997, BFA University of Louisiana 1984, Artist fellow State of South Carolina 1998, arts educator 1995 to present. dwellers Moving back to a city environment after living in small towns for twenty years really sent a charge through my mundane existence. The dwellers series were a response to my change of place. While making this group of suspended fabric constructions, I had alas found my footing in New Orleans -- a balance between making and teaching. One of the most inspiring parts of my world at this time was my affiliation with NOCCA, the New Orleans Center for the Creative Arts|Riverfront, a regional, pre-professional arts center that offers high school-age students intensive instruction in the arts.
