anne boudreau sculpture: dwellers page: dwellers Moving back to a city environment after living in small towns for twenty years really sent a charge through my mundane existence. The dwellers series were a response to my change of place. While making this group of suspended fabric constructions, I had alas found my footing in New Orleans -- a balance between making and teaching. One of the most inspiring parts of my world at this time was my affiliation with NOCCA, the New Orleans Center for the Creative Arts|Riverfront, a regional, pre-professional arts center that offers high school-age students intensive instruction in the arts.
