anne boudreau is a visual artist who makes mixed media sculpture and collage. She is a native of New Orleans, and currently resides in south Louisiana. MFA University of South Carolina 1997, BFA University of Louisiana 1984, Artist fellow State of South Carolina 1998, arts educator 1995 to present. hopes & wishes Early 2008, still living in the throws of post-flood New Orleans, the country was in the midst of a major presidential election year, and I was enduring my second year of full-time teaching in a New Orleans public high school -- I had much to hope and wish for. The rebuilding process in New Orleans was in part on an upswing, I was enthusiastic about the possibility of a major change in government, and in the fall of 2008 I returned to part-time teaching so I could spend more time in the studio.
